SUFFICIENT

I AM THANKFUL FOR THIS DAY AND FOR EVERY OPPORTUNITY.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from our selves, but our sufficiency is from God...

Sufficient.

The blog today is for those who don't know much of the scriptures and may not attend a church.
You may be wondering, where do I go and where do I get started with this desire that I have to know God and to know Jesus.

I met a prostitute who I was able to sit and talk with and she taught me so much in 40 minutes and the Lord was able to use me to share something with her as she shared with me.
The Father showed me that guilt is not a tool of His but it is of a pimp mentality.
In this conversation with this woman she shared the tactics of a pimp and they related so close to the devil, it was amazing to me.

She wanted to know where to begin.
She wasn't prepared to leave her lifestyle yesterday, but she received prayer, a meal, love and these words.

You begin at the beginning in all things.
By asking the Lord to come and be with you and to be your help.
On our knees, in prayer is where we begin.

Begin in Genesis go to John.

I want to say something to you,
Christ has qualified you to love people.
The Father has empowered you and authorized you if Christ Jesus is your LORD to know Him and the power of His resurrection.

Take that love and toss the guilt up on the cross where Christ left it and reflect Him today, because it is by grace that you are saved.

The Gift Of God.

As you begin to study the Bible never, ever, ever take scripture out of context or put your cultural understanding or twist on it's meaning.
Read the entire text and allow it to define itself.

As you grow in grace, read the letters that The Apostle Paul wrote, not as if you are Paul writing them, but as if you are the recipient.

This is something that the Lord has me doing right now.
I have purchased beautiful stationary and I am writing the words of Paul as addressed to me.
A woman in Michigan who he has heard of my love for the Word and my desire to share Christ and The Father.

So the letters are encouraging and not manipulative or guilt ridden, they are not pushing an agenda or to exalt Paul, but to keep me strong In The Lord.

I do the same with the Words of Jesus.
So as you open the book of Genesis look at it as a personal invite and letter to you from the God who formed you.

We teach the children that the Bible is God's love letter to you and me, and it's true.

Open up to the book of John and do the same thing, write what Jesus says as a love letter to your self and mail it to your self.

Go to Colossians and do the same.
This is a good place to start.

Father,

I thank you this day for your Word that never returns to you without accomplishing.
I thank you for making me fruitful in this work.
I pray for those who see and receive and support and encourage with grace and truth through knowing Your Son.
In The Authority given me by Christ Jesus my LORD and Saviour.

So Be It!

Write your self a letter :)
1Peter 4:7,8

Love Y'all
