HE WANTS YOU TO KNOW

THE WORLD IS GOING TO TRY YOU AND ME.

BUT!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places In Christ.

If I had to rely only on my intelligence or experience or the intelligence and experience of other people I would stay in trouble.

It is true that there are things that you can learn from the experienced.

Yet there is no lesson greater learned than that of knowing what Christ experienced for you.

Remember what Jesus went through on the cross at Calvary on our behalf.

It is written for us to rely on and learn from.

The world is going to try us and the world is going to keep testing us until we take our last breath or until we are caught up in the clouds with the Lord.

The world is going to try the experienced ones and the world is going to try the inexperienced ones alike.

The tempter comes for the Words sake, because there is life giving power in the Word.

So any words or thoughts that come to put a wedge between us and what Christ has done for us, we have to know what God said and take His Word to remove that wedge.

Guilt, shame, and fear comes to drive a wedge between us and God, but let me tell you something... grace is greater than shame or guilt and the Word of God will demolish fear because where sin abounded grace did much more abound!

A Thief steals because he can't produce on his own, but God made us able to produce and not steal.
God made us able to multiply through Him.

You are not in this world alone no matter what or who tries to tell you that you are.
You are not alone In Christ Jesus, He overcame this world for you.
We escape the pollutions of this world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace.

In the world you shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

We shall have testing, trouble, persecutions, accusations, misrepresentations, weapons formed.

Know this and move forward.

The Lord Jesus was tested by the world system when He walked this earth and He told us that we would encounter the same testing.

James said, Blessed is the man who endures the testing: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him.

When you are tempted don't say that it's God.
Know that you can be tested, endure it and overcome it In and through Christ Jesus.
The way that we endure and come out victoriously is by knowing that God fights our battles.
That He already won.

But when we are tested and fail it's because of our own lust to retaliate, be right or demonstrate our wisdom and experience.

Genesis 3:1-6

You don't have to prove anything to any one when you know who you are.

If you examine your self the burden of proof is on them.

Matthew 4:1

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted/tested of the devil.

The tempter, the tester is the devil.

The Pharisees also came to the LORD to test Him saying things to try and trip Him up. ( Whenever the gospel is preached in a manner to trip people up, it isn't coming from above, those tactics are not from heaven.)

The power of the Word needs no tricks.

The Father wants you to know something.

God is a good God and He will not inflict evil upon us to prove our character.
James 1:17

The tempter is satan.

The tempting of the Lord by satan was to see if Jesus was like Adam, without understanding.

You can have knowledge without revelation.
Knowledge without revelation has the tendency to puff up.
Knowledge all by itself wields a power that can corrupt the bearer.

Adam didn't understand who he was and what he already possessed.

The devil wanted to know if Christ had a revelation of Himself.
A humble God doesn't sell wolf tickets because He doesn't have to, He knows who He is and what He is capable of.

The test question on the quiz from the tempter is this:

Do you know who you are, because I do?

As long as we don't know who we are In God and Christ, we fail the test by wasting energy trying to prove to someone else who we are and they already know.
But they don't want you to know.

I talked to a prostitute this past week and I could see the potential in her but she couldn't.
I could have used that to my advantage like her pimp did and manipulated her or I could show her a mirror through God's Word.

I spoke positive things into her spirit about how Christ could take her to another level of living.

The man who was pimping her could see her potential as well but what he did was manipulate her by making her believe that all of her potential rested in her connection to him.

The Holy Spirit helped me to plant a seed that demonstrated that all of her potential is directly connected to what she knows and believes about Christ and what He has done for her.

There is a difference between the Lord Jesus teaching us who we are so that we can operate in Him on this earth and the enemy testing us in order to manipulate us out of our seat of authority.
Amen.

In John chapter 6 the Lord is at the sea of Galilee where a multitude of people had followed Him after seeing Him perform miracles of healing.

It was near the time of the passover feast of the Jews and a shepherd will feed those who follow him.

As the Lord looks upon this mass of people who have followed Him, He asks Philip

(The Evangelist) Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Not to manipulate Philip or shame him, but to put Philip in a position to examine where he is at and who He is with.

Philip answered saying, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that everyone of them may take a little.

Now the Lord asked this question because He wanted to know if Philip understood how they would be fed, because The Lord Jesus already knew how they would be fed.

The Lord wanted to know if Philip understood what was possible with God.

This is The Lord who Philip witnessed turn water into wine, heal the sick and raise the dead.

If I ask you in this economic downturn how will you be fed with ends not meeting, what would you say?

If I ask you what will you do if you leave what you know is safe and has the hook up and all the connections to follow Christs plan for your life, what would you say?

Say this:

It is written, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD!

What has God said to us?

God who at different times and in different manners spoke to us in times past through the
prophets, Has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

A greater authority.

And the Word teaches us that God has raised us up together and made us to sit in heavenly places In Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:6

Andrew, the brother of Peter answered the Lord saying, There is a lad here, which has five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

Jesus said, Make the men sit down.

It's not what you have, it's who you are seated with.

The world is going to try you and God wants you to know that He is the seat that you can sit in without measuring the width of the cushion to see if your behind will fit in it.

The Father is the seat that you don't have to kick the legs to see if they are sturdy or not.

Christ is the seat that you don't have to wonder if the back will support your back.

You can rest in knowing that when God looks down at your need He sees His Son at the table with you.

And with Him all things are possible.

Sit like Rosa Parks, don't give up your seat.

Father,

Thank You for Your grace that never leaves us.

Thank You for more grace as we humble our selves and submit our thinking to Your Word.

In Jesus Name.

Romans 4:4-8

James 1:12-17

Love Y'all
