NOT WAITING, RESTING

HALLELUJAH!

A candle, turn on the light!
The LORD Jesus Christ said,
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.
John 12:46

The Lord told these things so that when they happen we would know that He is faithful.
John 14:29

We are not waiting for the Lord to show up.
Jesus told His disciples before He went to prepare a place for us, by going to the cross, His passion, His death , burial and resurrection was preparing that place for us and if it was not so, He wouldn't have told us, but my LORD said,
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Helper), that He may be with you forever;
That is The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

The Holy Spirit will be in those who belong to Christ Jesus.
It is The Holy Spirit of God that teaches us all things that Christ has said.
And we are to abide in The Doctrine of Christ Jesus.

Because Christ has risen and He lives we live and He lives in us.
We are not waiting for that to happen.
Jesus is in The Father, The Father is in Christ and Christ is in us.

Jesus said,
If anyone loves me, he will keep My Word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.
John 14:23; John 8:51,52; 2John 9

Jesus also said,
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

John 15:7,8

A disciple is not waiting on the Lord to show up and do something a disciple carries The LORD with him wherever he goes.
This is how we do greater works because we believe on Him whom The Father sent.

So shall you be my disciples is what Christ said.

Not made.
So Jesus having made a place for us said,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even until the end of the world,
Amen
Matthew 28:18-20

Look at what Christ commanded us to do.
To love one another.
To teach.
To abide in His doctrine.

I can teach you to drive but I can't make you Dale Earnhardt Jr.
You can be taught to play basketball but that won't make you Lebron James.
When you get the revelation from God of what lives in you and will never ever leave you, now you are glorifying God, this is the fruit that we bear showing our selves to be disciples.

The LORD said, I am with you.

I'm never speaking on my own initiative, I'm doing what God told me to do.

Consider these scriptures today.
1John 2:3-6; Romans 8:26; Hebrews 13:5

He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
Love Y'all
