RIGHTEOUS

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Rejoice in The LORD all ye righteous!

The proverbs say that if we turn our ear to wisdom and apply our hearts to understanding,
and call out for insight looking for it as we look for riches searching for it as we would hidden treasure, then we would understand what it is to revere the LORD.
Matthew 6:33

The proverbs teach us that we would find the knowledge of God, because it is His pleasure to give us wisdom and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

He guards the course of those whom He justified and protects the way of His faithful ones.
He is a shield to the righteous and our victory is in Him.

I'm a tailgater of righteousness.
That means that I follow it closely because I remember hearing things that would try and take my righteousness away.

You know teaching or preaching that would have me questioning whether I was right with God or not.
One day I really got to thinking about whether or not I was in right standing with The Father based on pressure, and I almost gave in to the pressure.

I was like I know that I received Christ Jesus as the full payment and atonement for my sin, I know that I have believed on His authority as master, knowing that everything was made for Him and by Him and not anything that was made was made without Him.

I know the Word of God says that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

I know that it's written and Jesus said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved..."

I know it's written that and Jesus said, "He that beleiveth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

I know that there is no salvation in any other except Christ Jesus.

I know that in the book of Acts when the jailer asked Paul and Silas" Sirs, What must I do to be saved?"
Paul and Silas said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your
household.

I know if I don't know anything else I have been taught Romans 10:9

I know it's written in Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are you saved through faith; and not of anything that I have done: it is the gift of God.

I know Titus 3:5 says:
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy Ghost, who He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

What a minute !
I know that I am the righteousness of God In Christ Jesus !

I mean I started taking inventory in my spirit and mind, like checking off a list of what I knew and believed.

The LORD spoke to me loud and asked, "Who told you that you have not been vindicated unless you do this?"

So I told the LORD what I had heard and He said, "You are acceptable in my Son."
Ephesians 6:1

You are clothed in righteousness.

It was almost like the LORD asked me, "Who told you that you were naked?"

So I don't have to be circumcised to be saved and I don't have to evangelize to be made right with God.

Genesis 15:6 records of Abraham:
...And he believed in the LORD; and He counted it to him for righteousness.

James 2:23
I couldn't find anywhere where it was written that God commanded Abraham to evangelize in order to be justified.

Let me tell you what I did find.

I found that whenever someone knows, I mean really understands the revelation of being made righteous through the gracious gift of God, they can't stop telling people about it.

It's when folks feel condemned that they won't open their mouths.
Shame and guilt shuts you up.

The wicked flee when no one is chasing them: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
When you know you are in right standing with God you can't shut up and folks can't shut you up from shouting about it!

When The Lord Jesus stood at Jacobs well talking to the Samaritan woman He told that woman
'I know you have been ostracized and judged and criticised for all these men that you have been with and the one that you are with now ain't your husband and you may be a mess in the eyes of society, but I'm here to help you girl.'

He said, 'I know the raggedy decisions that you have made but I'm not here to put them on blast and broadcast them to the community and have them chime in and whisper behind your back about them.'

I'm here to forgive you and set you at liberty.

That was the water this girl was really thirsting for.
Not approval of a jacked up lifestyle but He approved of her and He was set to help her improve by imparting His love and the stamp of His Holy Spirit on Her.

Well she dropped the bucket and ran and told everybody what He was saying.

Child come and hear what this man is saying at the well!
He said that I if I believe on Him I can be justified with God and nothing that I have done in the past can be held against me!
1Peter 2:24

He told me that I can start new because new are His mercies every morning!
That I can be a new creation in Him!

See we don't have to condemn and threaten folks into evangelizing or living right by hanging their salvation over their heads when they know that they are righteous.

He gave some evangelists.
Not all are evangelists but when they get this revelation you can't stop them from telling somebody.

If you have to convince people to shout about something and do righteous things, you might want to review what they have believed.

Bring it to their remembrance today.
