THE LIGHT

HALLELUJAH!

No man, when he has lit a candle, covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but sets it on a candlestick, so that those who enter in may see the light.

Luke 8:16

No man, when he has lit a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

The light of the body is the eye: therefore when your eye is single, your whole body is full of light; but when it is evil, the body is full of darkness.

Luke 11:33,34

Jesus is the light of the world.

So we don't take Christ Jesus and set Him below the 10 commandments as our way to restoration.

We don't achieve health, wealth or well being through the 10 commandments.

The grace of God has been poured out in Christ and the true definition of that grace has been revealed.

Now some have decided that they will put Christ Jesus under a bed or under a bushel or place Him back in a crypt and preach the law as the way to restoration.

Men and women have heard the voice of God through revelatory preaching teach grace, preaching Christ consciousness, teaching on the rest of God and instead of taking that light and placing it on a candlestick, they hid it under a bed by denying God's people the full view.

By denying God's children and those who He desires to come to Him the real definition of grace, they have denied Him.

Because their view is that if you stay focused on the light and not your self, you won't be good for use.

When Christ speaks of men denying Him before men, this is what He is talking about.
He is talking about teaching people to be self conscious rather than Christ conscious.

When the eye is single the whole body is full of light.
What is that?
That our focus is singled in on Christ.

The enemy hopes that you will be distracted with how overweight you are because then you will be trying to cover those bulges and you won't be a light where you are supposed to shine.
I don't mean live unhealthy because your body is a gift, the vessel of God and dwelling place for the Lord and His Holy Spirit.

Listen babies, play on that belly like it's a drum and point folks to Jesus.
The Lord will help you take that weight off.

You have heard about Peter walking on the water and as long as his eye was single staying on Christ, he could walk.
Amen.
But it's when Peter became conscious of the storm that he began to sink.

His attention was redirected.
I remember an instance where I was someplace and I was receiving too much attention because the people hadn't saw me in such a long time and there was a gentleman there who he was used to getting the spotlight.

We grew up together and knew each other as teenagers.

This guy was used to being the life of the party and he couldn't take it that no one was paying any attention to him, so he said something very low but able to be heard by all.

It was subtle and he wanted to make me feel self conscious.
He thought in his sad little pea brain that what he said would get me to dry up and stop talking and then all eyes would be back on him and his stories of a visit to New Orleans.

Well I was talking about how good God had been to me and do you know what he said?
No you don't but I am about to tell you.
He said, "I see Jesus didn't clear those spots up on your face."
Don't worry or feel sorry for me honey, don't worry about my esteem because it's not in self it's In Christ.

Now if I was sixteen that might have bothered me, but I laughed so hard because if I wanted to act in the flesh I could have set him down from head to toe.
But when the light is lit it's no longer subject to the flesh.
Matthew 5:14,15

I know where that came from in him, fear because he was insecure and self conscious.

What I was saying about God's goodness is true, I continued to talk and say God is good.
I could have stopped talking about Jesus and began to focus on if everyone was now looking at my skin or do what I did and continue to seize the opportunity to share the light.

The enemy would love to point out where your finances are.
Whispering in your ear that you aren't really doing much if you aren't doing this thing or that thing by trying to get you to compare your self with other people.

The devil will say, "This is why you don't have a ministry...", like it's he who has the power to put you in the ministry.

Christ puts you in the ministry when you receive Him.
Babies, you have a ministry and the devil is following it.
A ministry that speaks to your family, friends and even strangers.

Don't be so conscious of self, be conscious of Christ.
Abraham the father of faith was not self conscious, the record in scripture says that Abraham considered not his own body...

Abram hadn't done anything special when God decided to come and bless him.
Abraham was praying to the moon and worshiping the stars when God came and said,
"Turn from that Abram and follow me, I'll bless you and you will be a blessing."

King David was not self conscious.
He didn't consider the size of Goliath.
So don't look at you self or listen to self conscious folk saying things that take your eye off of the light.
