MARRIAGE

Thank You Father for loving us so that You gave Your Son.
Thank You Kevin for loving me so much and for understanding what God has told me to do.

I thank God for giving me to a man that has the heart of Christ.
Ladies if you have a husband who hasn't deserted you, He came from God.

Ladies if you have been left by a man, it's not your loss but his.
Christ desires to fill that void and bring you to a man with His heart.
First draw near to The LORD and learn of His heart so when the man comes you can recognize it.
Amen.
This whole blog is written with a soft tone, I'm not yelling or crying as I type so as you read it you may believe that some of it is hard, but if you have been following my writing you should be ready for meat and not milkshakes :)

Our Father would not have us ignorant or deceived.



For thy Maker is thy husband; The LORD of hosts is His Name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called.
Isaiah 54:5



Recorded in the Gospel of Luke or Lord says,
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
What does that mean?
We know that it doesn't mean to literally hate your family.

Because holy scripture teaches:
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it;
That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word,

That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
(That's a virgin) undefiled.
That's what you have become is new In Christ.
So if you had been around the block prior to Christ, He makes you clean.

Behavior modification is being taught instead of this, many religions and cultures believe in behavior modification and none of them believe in what Christ has done.

The blind man wasn't taught how to modify his behaviour until after he was forgiven and his sight returned.
People leap up and walk who couldn't because they have revelation of what Christ has done for them.
Don't put the cart before the horse.
This is where faith comes from.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as The LORD the church:

(A man has to be intimate with the LORD and His Word so that he can experience and comprehend that he is loved by God. When a man knows that he is loved by God, God can then show him how to love a woman properly)

For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. (Christ Jesus)

Ephesians 5:25-30

Does that sound familiar?

Members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

Genesis 2:22-25
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Man shall no longer depend and rely on his family.
Love your family but nobody comes before God.

So this is why The LORD would say, in order to follow Him you would have to hate everyone and everything else?
That's a hard saying isn't it?
He couldn't say it to everybody and some people misunderstood it then and they misunderstand it still.

Some folks believe that they are doing it and they aren't, and some are doing it and don't know.
Why would a loving God say something like that?
Because He will not take a disciple or a bride who will not totally rely on Him.

What man who is married wants his wife depending on his brother to take care of his wife?

God knows if we will not totally rely on Him we will turn from Him looking to other men and things to save, support and satisfy our desires.
The LORD showed me this so clearly and he showed me how he hardens the heart of prideful people to work to His advantage.

God said, I will give you the desires of your heart.
Leave and Cleave.

Y'all will get it later.

You may be depending on the rich man, the famous preacher, the wealthy evangelist, your momma, daddy, rich aunt, or an alliance of men to propel you into your God given purpose.
God is the only One who can do anything truly good for you.

It's God The Father who directs the hearts of men who trust in Him.
But it's when we begin to think of other ways and look to other people that causes the problem.

If you are part of His church, the church of the One true living God, you are flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone and therefore you are in covenant with Him.

This is a relationship not a religion.
Marriage is not an idea, it is a covenant created and established by God Almighty.

Understand it, before you enter into it, teach on it or judge the union of any man.
The Church is His bride, The Bride of Christ.
Jerusalem and Judah

"Love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, all thy mind and all thy soul."

We believe that we have done this like the rich young ruler.
Yet men have coveted something else in their hearts not being satisfied with what God has given In Christ.

That is the seed of adultery.
This was Eve's problem in the garden, covetousness.
A greedy desire to have more.
Not satisfied with what she had and this produces the seed of fornication.

Adultery- One who is unfaithful to God. (ungodly)

Teaching and saying something other that what God commanded.
Behaving ungodly. Ephesians 4:18,19
Giving the devil a foothold into their lives with gossip, lies and unwholesome talk.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her and he did eat.

It wasn't what God said but they took it and digested it because it had a ring to it, it was entertaining, she had never heard it put that way before, it sounded clever, and it sold and made money, so they fed it to their congregation.

The Word teaches us to beware of this type of thought process where we are not satisfied, because a man's life consists not in the abundance of things which he possesses.

Luke 12:15

It began as a thought introduced by someone other than her God or husband.

All adultery, covetousness, idolatry, greed, pride and excess which are all the same in God's eyes are introduced to the heart through anything that is not what God has said.
The Father is opposed to them all.
This is why we have to know what God said.

You can't alter it a little bit because you are afraid of being criticised for being too spiritual or too heavenly minded.


Heaven is your home and Christ Jesus is your LORD.
Did you know that God had given Adam the instructions to not eat of that tree before He even formed the woman?
Genesis 2:16 The Woman wasn't even made yet.

Just like God gave you instructions before He gave you influence.
This is why God says to men,
Love your wives as Christ loves the church and gave Himself for it.
Because Adam failed to do that.



That is what Christ Jesus has done for us, set the example.
Christ has loved us.
Christ has saved us.
Christ has informed us.
Christ has given us His Body, His Blood and His Word.

Can you imagine being married to someone who doesn't understand this?
This is why The Father exhorts us to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.


Unbelievers are unbelievers through ignorance, that is what the Apostle Paul was, an unbeliever through ignorance.

Ignorant folks are found in churches everywhere.
They preach and they speak about things with which they have no knowledge or understanding and the Bible says not to.
Like Saul did, he went around persecuting what he didn't understand.

You can persecute people with words and you believe that you are doing God's work.
Saul believed because he was religious and sat and was taught at the foot of the most educated men of religious studies, that he was doing the bidding of The Father.

But when God shined The Light on Saul he turned from that, he had a change of mind.He repented, which means he changed his way of thinking.

He turned from religion to Christ.

God separated Paul and sat him at the feet of Jesus so that he could learn before he went out speaking of The Kingdom.

Can you imagine sitting in the congregation of a preacher who doesn't understand this?

This is why you see folks who are able to perform, sweat, shout and scream for a couple of years and you look up and they are gone.
No one was changed for all their screaming and spinning people were left by the wayside, doubting.

Because they have failed to listen to the prompting of God and The Holy Spirit they have been trained to listen to men who haven't even been listening to God.
This is the truth and you know it.

Folks placing their heart like money and bets on institutions and men.

Putting all of your trust in an overseer or shepherd who hasn't meditated the Word of God for himself.
This is the man who because he hasn't sought the face of God for an answer, will tell you to do something because God said so.

He won't be able to demonstrate it on a continual basis because he himself doesn't understand.
That's how you can have a man get up in a pulpit and scream and spit like a pit bull instead of preach Christ.
They are supposed to be able to give an answer to every man for the hope that is in them.

I am not talking about any particular person, you can turn on Christian TV or radio and see and hear it 24 hours a day.

The LORD told us to not hinder the children from coming to Him.
How do you not hinder the people?
By truly getting before The LORD in His Word.

Seeking His face and understanding His Kingdom.
Put down the best sellers for a week and pick up the Bible.

Who came and was crucified, died and rose for you?

Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God making intercession for you and me.
Hearing God and saying only what The Father would have Him to say.

They called Him everything but a child of God for our sakes and He withstood it so that you and I would be redeemed.
He protected us at all costs.

Pride won't protect you.

Do you really understand marriage and it's covenant?
Because if you did you wouldn't have to devise strategies to stay focused on your wife.
Your shamelessness and pride keep you tangled with pettiness, while your people perish.

It's not the woman in the red dress that comes into the church.
It's what you allow to crowd your heart.
It's God's men and women not turning from their wicked ways.
James 1:14,15
It's not behaviour modification, it's knowing that God didn't send that thought.

There is a whole lot of talk about the state of marriage, the state of the world morally and the reason that they got this way.

How can a talk show hostess sit on nationwide day time television and teach virgin women how to masturbate?

Don't blame her.

Because she came out of a church as a child where all they taught was Easter pieces and the stories of the Old Testament, Noah's Ark, Moses and the Ten commandments.

They hadn't sought any further than that, so they couldn't teach.

Should that still be happening today?

Should men who preach authority have no knowledge of Authority?

Blaming the government, media, the lost, the devil, the president, their own congregation, music and Hollywood.

Prayer being taken out of schools shouldn't have had an effect on people who God who have been taught to teach their children of God when they rise and when they lay down and when they go about the way.

Is the government or the media the real authority?
Who has access to true authority?

King David asked:
What is man that thou art mindful of him?

And the son of man that thou visit him?
For thou has made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

(God set man in the garden to make the ground good, not angels.)


Thou made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.
Psalm 8:4-6

God put you here to dress and keep it.
Genesis 1:5-7, 15
That's you.

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left His house, and gave authority to His servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the potter to watch.

Mark 13:34



Then He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over devils, and to cure diseases.

And He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

The kingdom being preached is what heals marriages and addictions and families and lifts the scales off of blind eyes and causes men and women who have bound for years to jump up with modified behaviour and run and leap and walk into a temple praising God.

But 7 ways and 10 ways and 12 things to do, is religion.
Because there's 1 thing that is missing from the steps.
Believing that Christ Jesus has done it.

And He said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither stave's, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
And whatsoever house you enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

And whosoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

You talk about marriage, abortion, inflation, war on terror, famine, morals and integrity.

God said,
If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble them selves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God said, if My people who are not humble, would repent/ have a change of mind and turn from their wicked ways.

His people.
His people don't seek His face, they seek what another man has written.
Jesus taught in parables much of the time because He knew that many men wouldn't
seek to understand.

He kept many things hidden from the natural carnal mind.

"His people"
Hebrews 11:6
Our due diligence is to seek first the Kingdom of God.
Diligence means to study, to be a workman rightly dividing the Word of God.

The Word says,
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son (Christ Jesus )
whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He (Jesus Christ) had purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of The Majesty on high...
Hebrews 1:1-3; John 1:1-5

What is important that you understand and the meat of this letter is that we are married to this Word.

It is a covenant and when we turn from it not the opinion of men, we are turning from God and that is adultery.

He is a jealous God and He will not have any God's before Him.
If you don't understand this you won't recognize the Kingdom of God when it comes to you.

Meditate the parable in Matthew 22

Prepare His way.
Still doing what The Father told me to do.
