THE ANOINTED ONE AND HIS SPIRIT!

THANK YOU FATHER FOR YOUR SPIRIT.

I talked about king David yesterday and how he cried to the LORD asking Him not to take His Spirit away.

Christ hadn't come and taken on the sin of the world in David's time. David had the Spirit of God and he knew that it was by that Spirit that he walked in victory.
Understand how important The Holy Spirit is to us, He is like our umbilical cord to God.

The Bible teaches us that through Christ Jesus we have access by The Holy Spirit to The Father.

So this morning I am praying for all who see these words like The Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians.

Father,
Grant those who have come to You, according to Your riches and glory through Christ Jesus to be strengthened with might in their inner man by Your Spirit.

That Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith, that they be rooted and grounded in love and not gain so that they may be able to comprehend with all saints the magnitude and unshakable and unbreakable love of Christ, which no man's knowledge can refute or argue, so that they may be filled with all of the fullness of God.

To You Father who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ask or think according to Your Spirit that works in us, To You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all time.

What I want to say today is this,
I look at myself and I cannot fathom how a God could look at me and my imperfections and see righteousness in me. The only explanation would be for Him to look at me and see His Son.

Many people are trying to reach some standard of perfection that they will never see apart from Jesus.
Trying to imitate a group or a famous person, if we see a celebrity carrying a certain bag or wearing a certain brand, we want to imitate it.

We are to imitate God and be followers of God as dear children.
We are light in the LORD and that is how we should walk.

I never saw Jesus trying to gather votes by speaking against the darkness,
What the LORD did was He just kept turning on lights.

Can you imagine what is slithering around unnoticed?
You don't have to go around setting off alarms that will alert the slithering things, just give the folks a light to shine on it and the people can see it for them selves and stomp it's head off.


Goodness, Righteousness and Truth that's the lamp.

Be taught by Christ and then put Him on.
