THE ANALYSIS OF CRITICISM

THANK YOU FATHER.

I watched a preview of Disney princesses that showed clips of all the princesses in their tales.

Cinderella was one of my favorite Disney cartoons when I was a little girl, I have two daughters and at some point in their girlhood they have had the movie and doll phase of admiring the princesses as I did.

As we looked at the previews something stood out in my mind.

How the wicked step mother and step sisters had planned to keep Cindy so busy, washing floors, cleaning windows, hemming their clothes, cooking their meals, fluffing their pillows, milking their cows and feeding their chickens that she would be too worn out to make it to that ball.

It reminded me of Martha and Mary in the Scriptures where the LORD had told Mary that she had chosen that which could never be taken away from her.

I know you are wondering what does this have to do with criticism.
Listen and understand.

Holy Spirit guide and teach those who have you in them to see and help those who don't know Christ to understand.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

Criticism is a word that if you don't understand it clearly you will see it as a negative thing only.
You will believe that it's something that you shouldn't do and you don't want it done to you.

The reason that many people feel this way is because they don't understand what it's for.

Criticism is the act of observation and it is a gift of God to evaluate and analyze in order to make a righteous judgment.
It is the close study of origin, text, composition and history.

People will teach you that you have free will and you do, your free will is of no value without learning how to rightly direct it and God has given us that ability through coming to know Him and His Word.

Investigating and seeking to understand beyond the surface.
The Father has always encouraged His creation and His children to draw near to Him and He would draw near to them.

You must personally study out The Father in His Scriptures beyond devotionals, beyond the doors of a bible study that is shaped by someone elses agenda.

The LORD has invited each of us to ask, seek and knock, but if you are running around like Cinderella, when do you have time to sit at the LORD's feet?
I'm praying that you don't put your self in a position as to when the wedding banquet begins you are so wrapped up in something else that you miss it.

If the words hurt your feelings I pray that the message behind the words transcends your emotions.
Because I'm not going to simply tell you to man up or get tough skin, I am relying on The Holy Spirit to get this through.

The lesson begins by understanding that there are 2 types of criticism.
A. Constructive
B. Destructive

Constructive criticism is used to build, lift up, redeem, heal, improve and reveal.

Destructive criticism is used to destroy, tear down, control, condemn, hurt, and hide.

One is of God.
The other is of the evil one.
John 10:10

One brings the complete truth the other brings that which appears to be truth and is not.

Both may sting and seem harsh but only one will give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and deliver your soul from hell.
Hebrews 12:6,11; Isaiah 61:1-3; Proverbs 23:14

Criticism is only good when it is used for good, just as the law of God is only of any use when it is used for the purpose in which God gave it, to give men the knowledge of sin.

The problem comes when a man refuses to be analyzed by the Word of God.
This was Cain's problem in Genesis chapter 4.
Cain refused to be asked about his work, about how he cared for his brother and about what he was offering to God.

What the Father did was ask Cain questions to reveal truth, righteousness and show him the more excellent way.

Cain did not want to be instructed.
Will you be like Cain or will you be one who will receive the Word of The LORD?
Because we have a Creator who is mindful of us and loves us enough to be faithful and long suffering with us as we set His Son aside to chase after everything else but Him.

We have a God who is mindful of us and has remained with us as we try and enslave one another, murder one another, cheat one another, deceive and steal from one another all using His Name.

Will you be observed and evaluated and corrected by God now?
Because there will be a day when the observation will come to a close and the door will too.

We have a God who is mindful of us and who has given us His Spirit so that we have the Mind that is able to discern right from wrong, given us the ability in His own Spirit to criticise, which is to give our selves to the study of His Word in order to judge our decisions and that gift has been perverted.

Because the gift is no longer being used to Glorify Him, it's being used to glorify men, numbers, institutions, circles, egos and sects.

As soon as the gift begins to take on the appearance of not glorifying God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit, it becomes void.

It's void because it is no longer His Word that is being planted.
If it's not His Word there is no fruit.

A dove flies in the sky to glorify God and when the flight of that dove no longer flies to give glory to God, it drops dead to the ground.

Seek the LORD.

A young man asked me a question about the bible and he phrased the question in such a manner that I wanted to cry.
He asked me what my opinion was about a scripture.

I responded to him by saying, " I don't want to give you my opinion about the scripture I would rather show you what is written concerning the scripture."
My opinion about what God has said has no power.

What God has said has the power.
The sower does not pluck the scripture out of context and twist it to meet his pleasure.

The sower sows the Word.
You can talk and have a conversation about the NBA, I'm not talking be all off into never never land.

I listened to Dwight Howard make a comment about how his team may hear criticism from other people, other players and they may be given instruction and guidance from other voices, and it goes in one ear and out of the other, but it's not until they hear it from him , their leader that it sinks in.

That is exactly how I am.
I know that God The Father and Jesus Christ is The Son and That they Lead me through the Holy Spirit.
Everything else is going in one ear and out of the other.

You have a God who is mindful of you and He wants you to learn of Him so that you can hear Him, walk with Him, talk with Him, be lead of Him, sup with Him and are ready for Him when He comes.

So take the scriptures and observe them analyze what The Lord Jesus is to judge what is written.
This is the analysis of criticism, rightly dividing the Word Of Truth.
