BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY

THANK YOU FATHER.

Unlike many people who will draw their idea of Biblical Christianity from the lectures and books of someone else, my loyalty remains in what Christ has said and done.

I'm in the process of teaching my two younger children the gospel of John and they are learning to read and comprehend the words and draw pictures that reflect what the Holy Spirit teaches them.

As we go over the lesson they have learned who John was and what his job was, who Jesus is and why He came, how Jesus was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit.

They learned why the Spirit of God is necessary to live, hear and understand God.
As I continually pour over The book of John the Holy Spirit reveals more and more about The LORD and His ministry.

How Christ Jesus called the men who had followed John to follow Him.
When and where The LORD Jesus performed His first miracle at the wedding in Cana of Galilee.

What was Jesus' first and most bold act of chastisement and correction?
When He cleansed the temple and drove out all of those who had turned the house of God into a den of thieves, those who had taken the dwelling of The LORD and made merchandise of it.

How The LORD God, Jesus went on to teach men and women why He had come in the flesh.
The woman at the well, the healing of men everywhere He went, the feeding of thousands upon thousands, the forgiving of those caught in sin where others had condemned them.

How Christ taught that all judgment had been given to Him.
All analysis of the situations would be done by Him and He would relay to the Father and The Father would give Him the authority to save, set free and heal.

No tall tales of visions and dreams He didn't come with music and shouting and things to get the folks emotionally stirred.
Jesus came in getting things done that no man had got done.

One man of the religious group saw that, he was named Nicodemus. Nicodemus was one who instead of murmuring against Christ came to understand why he must be born again and receive the same Spirit that dwelled in Jesus in order to hear from God and relate to God truly.

But there were others who refused to believe that Christ was LORD because they had not the Spirit of God dwelling in them they could not understand the things that Christ was saying.
And because the religious men couldn't understand, some of those who had initially followed Christ and believed Him drew back from following Jesus.

Their logic was, if this group hasn't given their stamp of approval or understanding to Christ, we are going to draw back from following Him too.
They are the Priests they should know, right?

Were they right?
John 5

Many of the disciples stopped believing that Christ was the answer to all their grief, stress and heartache.
They stopped following The LORD's teaching, the One who they saw do things that no man had ever done.

The Lord's own brothers doubted Him and many of the Jews sought to cut Him off and kill Him.
Those who hated The LORD wanted to draw Him out into their local groups, saying, "Show your self if you are so great, You come from God, come and stop all of that teaching and show your mighty works to the world."

They were jealous of the things that He had done and because they didn't understand them they thought that His main goal was to show them up.
LORD JESUS.

But the LORD had a greater assignment than just feeding those thousands and healing the ones that were in His path in those days.
He would reveal their motive and blow the lid off of their schemes but that was in the process of His more urgent mission to give Him self as a sacrifice for our sins that we might live In Him.

The LORD told the religious crew, "My time is not yet come, but you can go on and do the things that you challenge me to do any day now."

The LORD in essence said, You have a charge against me and what God The Father has told me to do, I have to follow my Father in heaven, but you go right on ahead and do your thang.

Go on up to the feast because my time has not come yet.

Some of the Jews were just in awe of The LORD Jesus and His teaching and some refused to follow Him choosing to do all they have ever known and what was popular and there was a division.
Because some are going to follow and be loyal to The Living God and some are going to rely on men.

The LORD Jesus goes on to show that He is The Light of The World and where He comes from and that He alone speaks for The Father.

They still didn't understand who He was a people who had the scriptures that pointed exclusively to Him, and still some couldn't understand Him or recognize Him.

But there was a small portion which believed on Him.

And to those that believed on Jesus Christ, He said,
If you continue in My Word, then are you my disciples in deed:
And you shall know the truth, and the Truth shall make you free.

This is Biblical Christianity.

Jesus said,
If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
Here is how My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit: so shall you be my disciples.

The sower sows the seed of Christs' Word's because this is what produces faith the fruit.
The loyalty is to Christ and His Word, not to assumptions, not to opinions, not to doctrine's of men.
Holding fast to the faithfulness of Christ is how a man can by sound doctrine both teach, encourage, strengthen, console, comfort those who are weak and correct that which contradicts what Christ has established as truth.

Because it is truth that makes a man free and that is what a disciple does, makes a man free through the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Biblical Christianity is loyalty to the doctrine of Christ.
Will He find that when he returns or something else?

LOVE Y'ALL :)

  1. The LORD didn't allow anything to distract Him from hearing from the Father. Don't let anything get you so wrapped up in it that you can't hear from the Father.

Busy, Busy, Busy, running running running, so much that you have to take whatever is available or steal whatever you can get your hands on because you haven't spent time with the Father.
