THE BOOK

THANK YOU FATHER.

There is a movie out on DVD entitled "The Book of Eli" starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman.

This movie is a good one.
It tells the story of a post apocalyptic world where there is rumored to be only one copy of The Bible/ Holy Scripture left.
It looks as though Denzel's character Eli is the one holding The Word of God.

Men want it more than water.
The character that Mr. Oldman plays Carnegie wants it.
But Carnegie wants it in order to pervert it to his use and gain.

This character even offers Eli a position in his company promising that we all can rule, reign and get wealthy together with the knowledge that this book contains.

LORD JESUS.

Well Eli is not going to compromise the Word Of God, The Word that has the power to save the limited amount of men that are left after the destruction that has already occurred.

So Eli flees from the presence of Carnegie.
He has to fight and puts his life on the line in order to keep The Book from falling into the wrong hands.

Eli has to get The Book to a safe haven where it can be copied and not perverted, or twisted to coincide with any private interpretation.
He has to keep it in tact so that God's Will for man is not destroyed.

A battle ensues and it looks like the man Carnegie who has all of the power of many men and many weapons has prevailed because he ends up with The physical Book in his possession.
When Carnegie opens The Book the pages are white free of any ink, words, text.
Nothing for Carnegie to use to his own gain.

JESUS IS LORD!
Eli eventually gets to the place that God has set him out to arrive at and when he gets to the land where God has led him to The Book is rewritten because Eli is The Book.

The Word Of God was in Eli it wasn't just a book that he carried around looking for scriptures to pluck out and lay beside his twisted ego of greed and power like Carnegie did.

Eli was the living Word.

When you go up it's because your thoughts have gone up to the One whose thoughts are higher than your thoughts and up to His whose ways are higher than your ways are.

Don't get caught up in listening to celebrity or position more than you listen to He that sits upon The Throne of God.

It may be catchy, clever, make you clap, but most likely copied from someone who has not come up to honor The God whose ways are higher than ours and whose thoughts are higher than ours.

You forgive men because God forgave you not to antagonize those who did you wrong.
You forgive men to glorify God.
Matthew 6:14,15

The devil is he who antagonizes.
Forgiveness is not to scorch other men but it's to warm their thoughts towards The forgiving Father of all creation.

God didn't forgive us to show us our guilt, the law showed us our guilt.
The law heaps coals of fire on top of your head.

God forgives men who repent and look to Him because they acknowledge that He is God and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Forgiveness is love based, it's not punishment or shame based.
For God so loved the world that He sent His Son...

A mans way's seem right.
Proverbs 14:12
Be slow to get offended and quick to hear the Words of God.

Anything below what God has established is low and under our feet.
When you look up and reach up, you don't look low and stoop low.

Amen
LOVE Y'ALL :)
Proverbs 16:25
To fear The LORD means to honor and reverence Him above all.
