ADVANTAGE OR SHAME

THANK YOU FATHER.

Woe to the obstinate children, declares The LORD
to those who carry out plans that are not mine,
forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit,
heaping sin upon sin;
who go down to Egypt
without consulting me;
who look for help to Pharaoh's
protection, to Egypt's shade for refuge.

But Pharaoh's protection will be to your shame.
Egypt's shade will bring you disgrace.
Though they have officials in Zoan and
their envoys have arrived in Hanes,
everyone will be put to shame because of a people useless to them,
who bring neither help or advantage,
but only shame and disgrace.

Isaiah 30:1-5; Isaiah chapter 31 NIV

The nation of Israel through it's heritage is familiar with the wrath of God and is also familiar with the mercy of God.

America and other nations are familiar with the mercy of God and have not tasted the wrath of God as Israel has in it's history.

Why do you think that is?

Moses said it was because the people forgot that God had formed them, that they lightly esteem the Rock of their salvation.
God said that He would hide His face from that type of people and The Father declared what their end would be.
A deceitful and fraudulent generation in whom is no faith.

The Father said, They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to a jealousy by those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
Deuteronomy 32:18-21

The foolish things of the world would be the Gentiles who when Christ was rejected by the wise He was received by the unschooled.
A people who didn't have the Word were given the Word.

Romans chapter 10 The Apostle Paul recalls all of this quoting Moses and Isaiah.
Paul spoke of it in 1 Corinthians 1:1-31

Every joker from hear to Tin Buc Tu calls himself a Christian.
What kind of disciple of Christ are you, one who brings advantage or shame?

As long as a man's confidence is in his own flesh to complete and perfect, he is not confident in the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and he is seperate from the blood of Christ Jesus.
There is no rest there.

We aren't waiting on some perfected flesh, the perfected flesh was given at Calvary.

2 Corinthians 5:1-21

Study it out prayerfully.

LOVE Y'ALL :)
