WHAT CAN BE ADDED?

THANK YOU FATHER.

What can you add to what Christ has already done?

Because Christ has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him, and it is through His glory and goodness that we have been given these great and precious promises, so that through Him we are joined to the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires.

This is our faith.

Look at your faith as a big grocery bag.
It ain't empty if God has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness.
We are not lacking we are not poor.

So understand and tabulate everything that God has given us in Christ.
Let's load up our bag.

Through Christ we have goodness, knowledge, self control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love.
These are the fruits of His Spirit.

The rich man is the poor man if he has not these things or this understanding.

This is what God has given us, not things that we already had prior to Christ or things that we need to go out to Nordstrom's and get after we have been born again.

When you are born again you receive your armour you don't have to go out and buy a uniform, you put on what Christ provides.

If you have these things they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of The LORD Jesus Christ.
Anyone who does not have this understanding is nearsighted and blind and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his old sins.

When I speak of production I am not talking about an assembly line, I'm speaking of the fruit being apparent in you individually for your benefit.


Maliciousness and arrogant has everything else but this understanding.

When you don't understand this you continue in sin giving the devil a foothold into your life.
Sin is unbelief in Christ Jesus and what He has done.

Disciples set their hearts to understand their LORD and God.
Understanding this is how you make your calling and election sure, this is how you will know that you know that you know and no man, woman or demon can shake you or get away with manipulating you and sin will not be a problem or an issue for you.

Making your calling and election sure does not mean sealing your salvation with deeds, your salvation is sealed by grace through The Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus by faith.

Faith In Christ is what justifies and makes righteous.
We have peace with God through Jesus Christ. It's not our middle class morals that make us righteous.
It's being assured of our peace with God that gives us morality.

Just like father Abraham we believe on the One who justifies the ungodly, it's our belief in Him that is counted as righteousness.

All are ungodly looking to the One who justifies the ungodly.

Listen.
Jesus told Nicodemus that no man would see the kingdom of God unless he is born again by water and the Spirit.
We understand that by believing on The Name of Jesus and confessing Him as LORD we are born again and the Spirit of Adoption lives in us and now we call God Father.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by The Word of God, which lives and abides forever.
Christ is the incorruptible seed that bruises the head of the enemy.

If God has said that Christ is the propitiation for your sin, you can't add or take away anything from that.

If God has declared that Christ is the end of the law, no man or woman can subtract from that.

If Jesus Christ said, that He came into the world not to condemn it but to save it, you can't add to that.

The Bible testifies that God has not given a born again man or woman the spirit of fear, but love, power and a sound mind.
What exactly do you think makes our mind sound?
It's knowing that in Christ Jesus our salvation is sealed and settled.
A sound mind is not a double mind.
A sound mind is stayed on Jesus.

A double mind is a mind that is unstable, that is a mind that doesn't understand what Christ has done.

What can we add to the cross?
We can't add anything we just pick it up because the cross is the standard that God has given us to lift up.

Anyone who doesn't understand what Christ has done goes about to make something happen in their own flesh.
They will build or shut down in their flesh, that's what terrorist's do, by omitting and adding to what God has said.

This is why you have malicious Christians, filled with guile and hypocrisies because they refuse to recognize the sufficiency of Christ, they will not lay aside legalism and pick up the cross, because they haven't tasted the graciousness of God.

They are familiar only with what their flesh has provided for them.
Christ is not a front man for our projects, He is the Saviour of the world.
Because you have yielded to the blood of Christ Jesus it's Him in you that produces the fruit of righteousness.

Unbelief in Him is the sin.

Believing in Him is what obedience is.

There are two kingdoms and what many are trying to do is transform the kingdom of darkness to light when we will never transform darkness to light.

We are however equipped In Christ with light to lead those in the kingdom of darkness over into the kingdom of God's dear Son.

What can we add to the cross?
Our whole and total confidence in it, when you get this sin will have no hold on you.

It's all about Jesus, when you don't know what you already have any fool can give you the impression that you are lacking something.
That's what happened to Eve.
