Of this tree thou shalt not eat...
But you set your heart upon it and you covet the fields and take them by violence.

Babies before you call on another person to inquire about what happened historically where our beginning as people is concerned or the truth of Jesus being our salvation or anything concerning righteousness, open up the Bible, search out that section and read it.

Don't study 1 Kings chapter 12 without studying 1 Samuel chapter 8.
Because all falls boil down to desiring something that someone else has.

The people of God desired to have a king because they saw other nations had kings.
1Samuel 8:19,20
Samuel of course was hurt at the request but the LORD spoke to His prophet Samuel and told him, Don't be offended Samuel it's not you that the people are rejecting it's Me.

Samuel went on to warn the people what their kings would do to them.
They would send their young sons to war.
Your kings would make servants of your daughters, they will give you a line of credit that no math could possibly show that you could afford, loaning you far more money than is necessary for a home that they will later take for their children.

They will take a tenth of your seed and of your vineyards and give to their servants and officers.
You will cry out in those days because of the king which you will have chosen and the cry will fall on deaf ears.

Many men would like to say that these words refer to our presidents, you can see parallels but this is not limited to an oval office.
Because first and foremost The Father was speaking to the nation of Israel.

Everything that God said came to pass.
Simply because they wanted something other than what The Father had already supplied.

Covetousness won't work unless something else is presented to you that gives you the impression that you don't have what is required or necessary.

Like with the mother of men, Eve.
The idea was presented to her that she was not wise and that God had not given her everything. She believed that her creator was keeping something from her.
Because someone else said that He was.
Genesis 3:4,5
This is why it's called temptation because you are never tempted by anything that you already possess.

Do you know what impression the enemy gave her?
The enemy gave her the impression that without his advice she wouldn't be all that God had created her to be.

Satan manifests that pimp mentality.

It gives the impression that God is controlling and not in control.
A God that is in control doesn't need to be controlling, God doesn't need to keep anything from us and dole it out on a string, men do.

Men have to keep you in the dark for fear that you will get out ahead of them, God doesn't need that because you can't get ahead of Him.
Men have to put the novice up in order to make them selves look better.
I know men think that they have outsmarted God but we know that they have not.

See, there is nothing that man can offer me concerning my completeness in Christ because I know that I have it.
There is nothing that you could put before me and say, "Lolita, God knows that if you do this then you will be blessed forever more with more blessings and you will experience the fullness of the prosperity of God in every area and you won't limit His grace on your life."

I have desired no man's silver, gold or apparel I have it all In Christ.

When you think that you will lose something or that you don't have it is when you begin to look at what someone else has or what they seem to have.

You can't have another person's money.
You can't have another mans wife.
You can't have someone else's gift, looks, legacy or talent.
You can't have a man who doesn't want to be with you!
You can't have a woman who doesn't want to be with you!

This is where wars, deceit, lies and fighting come from.
From men and women who lust and have not: who kill and desire to obtain: who fight and war yet have not, because they ask not.

Those who profess Christ yet won't go to God first for their desire because they decide to take what they want and if they don't get it will throw a tantrum.
Then after their tantrum they pray.
You ask and receive not because you ask amiss that you may consume it upon your lust.

I have been speaking to a woman who is in a weird relationship and her abuser has convinced her that God has strengthened her to endure his abuse.
She is not married to this man who wants to be in union with her and she doesn't want to be united to him and she gave the reason when she didn't even have to because she owes him nothing more than a no thank you.

While he continues to try and convince her that it is a discipline and a cross that she has to bear in order to bring glory to God. That all he was trying to do in their relationship was keep her from making life mistakes and benefit from his knowledge.
Everyone wants to be a servant and no one wants to be treated like one is his motto.
What is that the green card for her to be belittled?

Please lower your self a little so that God can get the glory.

So now his goal in life is to show that she is unloving because she will not tolerate the benefit of his abundance of crazy.
She began to believe that she isn't loving and she is selfish because she wouldn't take this punk back and do what he wanted.
That is classic crazy talking.
Girl, don't eat of that tree or fall for that baloney, forgive that fool and keep stepping.

He needs to discipline himself.

Serve God in the manner that He has prescribed for you.
God sees what we do in private and He is the rewarder who rewards us openly.

And then I recently read an article that insinuates the same mess, that you are not right with God unless your service is rooted in the gospel.
What does that mean, that you won't do what God didn't tell you to do?
Saying that your growth in grace will be stunted.
Gods grace can't be stunted.
And you who wrote that God can be stunted need to thank God that He can't be.

So this is a string of garbage that is out there being taught.
Don't make me scream and shove that thinly veiled twisted guilt trip down a drain.

You are right with God through the shed blood of Christ not because you serve until you bleed.
Let that guilt trip deny himself.

Learn how the LORD instructed servants to be treated.
Learn how if you chose a bride that she is to be treated and loved as Christ loves the church.
See if the mindset of those who claim that God's grace will be stunted for you if you don't do what they prescribe is "like Jesus".
These excuses to abuse and intimidate people whether they be physically, spiritually, mentally or emotionally are going to dry up In Jesus Name.

I shared all of this so that you can recognize nonsense when it comes.
Don't tie your righteousness to that type of thinking.
Rely on the blood of Jesus.
