OPRAH

THANK YOU FATHER.

There is no denying that Oprah Winfrey has made an imprint in the hearts of people all around the world.

Anyone who has done what she has done couldn't do it without having people who disagree with them on certain things, those who disagree with everything all of the time, those who agree with everything all of the time, and those who love you enough to tell you when you are in error and support you with thanksgiving when you are right.

For every ten who will disagree there will be five that will agree, so do what God says regardless.

Myself, being a woman In Christ I had a problem with her asking the question,
"What about Jesus?"
It offended me and I wanted to ask people who looked up to her like I look up to the LORD, in that same manner " What about Oprah?"

Instead of being the one who could have told her about Jesus I reacted and responded with spit and not polish.
That's where growing In Christ is necessary.
I'm growing.

What I have come to celebrate about Oprah is not all of the things that have been shared in her farewell from daytime talk.
Because her work answers the natural question, "What about Oprah?"

Just as the work that Jesus did answers the question, "What about Jesus?"

What I have come to celebrate and recognize in this woman is that God has used her to do what He couldn't rely on anyone else to do.

The Father does that often with women.
Mary and Esther, Ruth and Rahab, The Samaritan woman at the well, It was women who saw the tomb empty first and who Christ revealed Himself to first when He had risen.

In no way do I exalt Oprah as I am sure she wouldn't want to be, but I do acknowledge her life as being one that has the hand of God on it and one that I have personally learned from.
My prayer is that she comes to know the LORD as her personal Saviour and only way to the Father.

Ah Hah:)

LOVE Y'ALL
