WHAT THE LORD SAID

THANK YOU FATHER.

HEY Y'ALL!
I HOPE YOUR HOLIDAY WAS A SAFE ONE.
SUMMER IS HERE :)

AND SO IS THE WORD!

The Lord Jesus said that anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter into it.
After He had said this He took some little children that were in the area up into His arms, laid His hands on them and blessed them.

The disciples had initially prevented these children from coming to The Lord.
People were bringing the children to the LORD to have Him lay His hands on them but His disciples rebuked the people.

The blessing and salvation of The LORD is so simple but so many want to make it so complicated and tie it to so many other things.

What is it that you believe the Lord Jesus requires of little children that come to Him?
Does He require what the mythical Santa does?
You better not pout, you better not cry, you better not shout I'm telling you why .....
What would a nine year old have to do to be blessed of God?

They would simply have to come to Him.
Call on the Name of Jesus and be saved.
The Lord said that anyone who would not receive the kingdom like a little child does will never enter in.

A child's faith is not a blind faith and it's not a faith that doesn't ask questions, you know this if you have children.
Children are told to mind without asking questions but not by God.

Teach children why things are a certain way.

A child's faith is an innocent faith and a faith that knows that it doesn't have to perform in order to be loved and accepted.
A child learns that being a certain way helps them to be clear of danger and to be a better help to those around them, but never dangle God's love or your own approval for them as an incentive.

A child's faith is a faith that believes that they are loved unconditionally.
When they are at their best or in the backyard making a mess.

I haven't taught my children that the LORD has blessed them because of what they have done.
I have taught them that God has blessed them because of who He is and what He has done.
Because He is a God that is faithful.

They do know that there are consequences to every action but the consequence will never be that they are not loved.

The children were being brought to the Lord so they had not made a conscious decision of their own to believe in Jesus, but those who brought them had trusted that Jesus would bless them.

Don't be the disciple that hinders the people from coming and trusting in The LORD as they should.

John 3:16.17
Mark 10:13-15

Teach them what The LORD has said.

LOVE Y'ALL :)
