CHRISTIANS VS. THE WORLD

THANK YOU FATHER.

I didn't listen to the news around me for a lot of years because it seemed like if you didn't listen to negative reports that they would just go away.
Just put your head in the sand and hope for the best.

That doesn't work.
Denial is not faith and facing reality is not simply doting on the negative.
Denial is denial and it doesn't change the face of the problem.

The Favour of God is given to be used to make changes.

There is a myth that permeates our society that insinuates that it's Christ against the world.
It's not Christian's against the world.
We know this is true because we know that Christ Jesus had the power to call down legion upon legion of angels to crush the men who crucified Him.

Since He has that power He need not have stopped there, God has the power to end it all right now.

But the mercy of God and the goodness of God and the love of God has not ended it all for man.
Why?

For God so loved the world...

Because Christ didn't come to destroy the world or to fight against the world, He came to save the world.
John 3:16,17

It's easy to destroy that is the cowards way.
But it takes faith and the strength of God to build what has been broken.

A Christians duty is to show Christ through the scriptures not to hinder men from coming to Christ.

In listening to the news reports in the metropolitan area where I live and world news, and some of the responses from citizens who claim to be Christians I see how much this is misunderstood.
They believe that it's them against the world, not that they have been set to be a light to the world.

Listening to folks who claim to pray to God out of one side of their mouth and then curse people out of the other side is proof that they don't love God.

Hate the sin and pray for the sinner.
Hate crime but pray for the criminal.

Honey, criminal acts are happening in many more places than on street corners.
Pray for corporate, political and religious criminals.

The attitude and words that come out of the mouths of republicans is sin, but you don't hate the republicans, you pray for them and vote.
Matthew 19:16-30

Share this with the politicians that you back, the ones who profess moral Christian values.

There is a song written that should be shared along with the scriptures in Matthew 19:16-30 and it says Love God Love people, Israel Houghton's song.
This is not to be used as a manipulative tool to bring guilt to people who don't do what you believe they should do, it brings truth and facts when combined with God's Word.
Love is not a tool to bind people to any form of abuse, oppression or ungodly practices.

Love must be sincere.

The Bible asks how can you love God and not love man who is made in the image of God?

How can you open your mouth professing to know about angels and demons and not know that your job is to pray for the lost instead of legislate their belief?

It's not what Christ did.

Folks talk about revival but revival is not The Church against the lost, revival is The church providing for the lost.

Why do the virtuous ones do what they do?
Is it to market them selves and market Christ for gain?

Why do the virtuous get up before the sun wakes up?
Why do the virtuous manage their money?
Why do the virtuous take care to work and to keep their strength up?
Why do the virtuous keep their hand to the wheel night and day?

Not so that they can be known as the diva or don of the circuit.

But so that they can stretch their hand out to the poor and reach forth their hand to the needy.
Because they love people as they love them selves.

Please don't start running adds about what you support financially this is not what I am writting this for.

This is for those whose main concern is not maintaining their own cherished way of living when other people haven't obtained a minimal way of living.

Our LORD didn't live that way.
Love builds up.
John 13:34,35

You will know them by their fruit.
Set it straight.
