DESTROY THIS TEMPLE

THANK YOU FATHER !


After The Lord Jesus beat those out of the temple who had transformed it into a place of merchandise He was asked by the leaders of the temple," What sign can you show us?"
What credential do you have that can satisfy us that You have authority to do this?

They basically wanted to know who The Lord thought He was coming in and disturbing the way they had run business, Who was He to come in and regulate?

You all know whenever there is opposition to regulation, it' s the very one's who are opposed to regulation that need to be watched.
A man who is doing right is not opposed to regulation and transparency.
Remember that as you watch your current congress block consumer programs that are set up to protect you.

Who are you?
Was the question posed to Christ.

Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
The religious leaders/ business men replied, It took forty six years to build this temple and You claim that You can build it up in three days?
The statement from The Lord that He could reconstruct what had taken them forty- six years to do offended them because they lacked understanding.
Neither did they seek to gain understanding because they had money , because they had allowed the abomination of merchandising to enter into the holy place.


It was not simply because they believed that they had done the will of the Lord by building a place to worship The Father in.

The religious leaders never would have literally torn their way of manipulating the people down.
The chief cornerstone was standing before them.
The Lord was trying to tell them who He was and show them how the zeal they had in this institution would be what would consume Him.
The temple was doing more damage to who The Father was than it was as a place of true worship.

The Father had to send His only begotten Son because the temple had no power in it to release men from their errors.
You could follow the priests all of your life and still be beholding to God for your transgressions, because All authority was not given to those in the temple.
All authority was given to The Son and then He dispersed it to those who followed Him.
As you hear men speak of authority today it is sad to discover that the majority of them have not submitted to the authority of Christ who they claim is their Lord.
The Holy Spirit will show us how men who preach " Submission To Authority " have not submitted to Christ and His authority more in the
days to come.
