CHRIST LIKE

THANK YOU FATHER!

I have been so blessed to learn that it is so much better to live by the teachings established by The Lord Jesus than it is to live by the popular phrases and historical errors of religion and believe that I am radical.
It is a blessing to have enough balls to live in spite of popular opinion no matter where it comes from.
I breath easier knowing that I didn't dig my life view from something that Bertrand Russell wrote but from the Words of Christ.
And an even crisper exhale do I have because I at least give the Lord his bibliographical credit for my philosophy, unlike so many.

It is useless to call myself a Christian and then have life views that don't reflect the way of Christ.

I have to say that I apologize for the way that I was programmed through ignorant teaching to have a venom towards homosexuals or anyone who didn't "represent" what I was taught was against that which has been deemed a "sacred institution" or a "biblical world view".

An institution and a view that the very men who coined these phrases have disrespected time and time again with extramarital affairs, both heterosexual and homosexual, unethical politics and practices, and just down right doctrines of their own creation.

I know that it is an utter failure, not Christ like, not American, nor Biblical to watch a nation of people living below the poverty line, people being executed when doubt has been raised, our own infrastructure, industry, health care, retirement and local education systems being destroyed by greed and lack of concern, and instead of supporting legislation that would work to improve these areas,  men and women would rather rally to hinder homosexuals from obtaining the same rights as any other upstanding, tax paying citizen.

People want to know about me, so they send people to see what I am about. Folks show up where I volunteer or pop up when I'm working or on elevators with me, Oh Lord!
Some want to see if I am camera friendly, I'm not blond with a nose job, or a size 6 with fake boobs and Botox injections.

I'm real and I might slap the taste right out of your mouth, yes.
And I am a Christian.
I will feed you and give you the clothes and shoes out of my closet but this is really me.

What you need to know about me is that I believed a doctrine of men for about seven years and I followed it so closely that I ignored what Christ Jesus said.
For over a  year I have been simply studying who Christ is and I am not the woman who will listen to anything that comes out of any ones lips and take it as bond anymore.
I am not impressed by any type of hype, I look straight through it to the core.

I was ashamed at how I could look at what was happening around me for so long and miss it.
It was so obvious when the Lord just showed me one simple thing in scripture and did not say anything, I just continued to go with the flow until it got so strong I couldn't anymore.
Well I am not that chick that just wants to get along and survive under the radar anymore.
Knowing that I am affirmed In Christ and not in the opinions of those who have used Christ as a stepping stone to their own fame or note gives me a joy, a peace, and a soundness that I never had.

This is why I can say that I support any people who will respect me as a human being no matter what their lifestyle is.
That is what I am called to do.
No one has asked me to accept their sin, people have however asked me to accept them as a human being and that is what I will do because it is what my Lord did.
While I was yet set to pay the wage for my own sin, Christ died for me.
It is irresponsible, unreasonable and selfish for anyone who claims to be a Christian not to love people for the mere fact that they are people or to try and give a gauge to another mans sin as if their own was of a lesser grade.

This is scriptural.
Jesus Him self denounced the very religious traditions that most men try and keep today and any tradition that is venomous towards other people, is not Christ.
Not many care for the souls of men but many care for the membership and commitment of men to them selves in order to maintain capital for their own gain.

If it were about Christ Jesus, it would be about Christ Jesus.
It wouldn't be about what Ezra did, because that was Ezra's assignment.
It wouldn't be about what Abraham did, because that was Abraham's assignment.
It wouldn't be about the new book because the Bible has it all.

It would be about going into all the world and teaching what Christ taught.
And when you find in scripture where Jesus said that it is my duty or anyone has been called and sent out to be a stumbling block to homosexuals or anyone else, post that on my wall.

John 12:42-50
Matthew 28:18-20
LOVE Y'ALL :)
FOR REAL :)
