Thank You Father for Your Truth and Faithfulness.

Don't just look at this as some reply to a conversation that you had with me because that is not what it is.
Look at this as the Lord speaking to you and answering you.
Print it out and study it with your Bible.

It will help you to develop faith.

Hebrews 10:23 says:
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;(for He is faithful that promised;)

You can't hold fast to a profession if you don't truly have a profession.

Faith is not ignoring the obvious.
It is not merely an optimistic view of life.
It's not just simply having a positive attitude.

Without real bible faith it is impossible to please God and anyone who comes to God must believe that He is able, and that God is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

You got drama in your life, in your body, in your home and family, in your wallet, in school and on your job but you are not seeking God because you think that it will all work itself out.

It's funny how we are selective about the things that we will ignore as truth and the things we select to be truth.
A realist view.
A "realist" view is not a faith view and it is by faith that men are saved.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
There is no room for boasting on our part.

Please stop listening to ungodly advice.
Please stop listening to folks who can't run their own ship right.
Why do y'all listen to people like that?

I listened to a man talk about self preservation and how it kicks in when your safety is threatened, but I want you to know something, you won't be preserved unless your faith is in God.

Jesus Christ is our life preserver.

So many folks misunderstand faith only because it's misunderstood by so many preachers.
There is a distinct difference between wanting and wishing versus knowing.

And there is a road that is wide and there is a road that is narrow.
The narrow road is the knowing road and the wide road is the wishing road.

The bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
That second hearing means understanding.

I know you may not have been taught that in seminary but I'm telling you what it means.
Faith is birthed out of continual hearing and understanding of God's Word.

Because of unbelief Jesus could do no mighty work in His hometown.
But unbelief is not just outright rebellion for no reason, Paul said his unbelief stemmed out of pure ignorance.

Because faith comes through the preaching and teaching of the gospel.
Not just a literal hearing on it's own but a hearing of the heart, soul and spirit.

A man can develop faith in something by reading books on it.

If you read a daily newspaper faith in something being said in the paper is developed in you.

It doesn't make it true in your life just because you read it or heard it.
If you put your focus on reading Hitler's opinion faith for what he believed could develop in you.

If you focus on gossip and lies faith for that has the potential to develop in you.
Meditation is the fertilization.

Whatever you fertilize is going to be what you produce be it good fruit or rotten fruit.

Indifference doesn't make anything materialize.

Faith is a total assurance that what God has said is true, not part of what He said but all of it.
When you believe it, you receive it, and you act like it.

You may have heard that Jesus heals and that is truth, but do you understand what that means?
Or do you not believe it because you or a loved one didn't receive healing?

Just because my parents were poor doesn't mean that I had to be poor.
Just because my parents were drug addicts doesn't mean that I had to a drug addict.
Just because you had a father who was a liar, or a mother who was a hateful heffa, or a door mat to your father doesn't mean that you have to be that way.

I don't use drugs because I made an effort to understand what it would mean to my life.
I'm not living the way that my parents lived just because I hoped that I wouldn't end up like them.

I took some steps.

If you have issues they are your issues.
Somebody made me realize yesterday that if I deal with me, I will be alright.
Even if everyone around you is full of crap, you deal with you and you will be OK.

Just because you had some grief or loss in your life in the past doesn't mean that your life has to remain that way.
Do you understand what I'm saying?

Many folks have heard about faith healing or being delivered from addictions or set free and didn't understand it, so instead of seeking medical treatment they ignored the symptoms and life was lost.

Many people have wanted a loved one to live or get better yet their conscience was so darkened they didn't have the knowledge to believe God.

I'm not talking to any particular person or trying to explain why you lost a loved one, I want you to understand that no matter what has happened, Jesus sees our faith and He sees our unbelief.

And Jesus operates according to what we truly believe in our hearts.
Not just our wishing and wanting.

You might want a million dollars and a whole lot of things, but what is your heart like?
The Word of God reveals the intention of your heart.

We do what we believe whether we realize it or not, we can always see what others are doing but it's so hard to see ourselves, our compact is always cloudy.

Hebrews 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart, having our hearts sprinkled (cleansed) from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with PURE water.
It's hard to not doubt when you have a guilty conscience or lack understanding.
You are stuck on believing what you see.

That is not bible faith and God doesn't want us stuck in a rut grasping at any and everything trying to get out.
He is the way out.

The Word says that in all our getting get an understanding.
It says that wisdom is the principle thing.
The Word says to lean not to our own understanding but in everything that we do acknowledge God (ask Him) and He will direct our path ( show us the way to go)
It says that blessed is the man who will not sit in the counsel of the ungodly.

This doesn't mean ignore the obvious, if you have a medical emergency call 911 do not bleed to death, do not lay on a couch with a temperature of 101 degrees Fahrenheit lighting candles, seek medical attention.

Real faith is present in Gods ability to work through the medical personnel to help you.
It's not the doctors or nurses, it's the Father working through them.


Taking our direction and advice from God and His Word.
If you have ever seen a scalpel cut, it cuts with the slightest touch, no pressure, clean and smooth as it opens the skin.

It reveals what was hidden under the surface of the skin.
This is what the Word of God is like.
It reveals.
That's funny because there is a feature on the video recording equipment at work used for when we have to record patients having 8 hour video EEG's, called "Reveal".

It helps the physicians to have video footage of the seizure along with the brainwave activity.

And "Reveal" is used as a quality assurance check in a way to make sure that you are actually recording the video and waveforms are actually being saved.
Because you can be looking at waveforms on the screen and they not be recording.

You can be looking at folks shout amen but is it really registering?

In our video room a question is posted on the machines as a reminder "Is Reveal On?"
The real question is, "Will we actually have a recording to transfer to the doctors after this patient has laid in this bed for 7 hours?"
It takes about an hour to measure, mark and wire the patients head with electrodes.
And then they spend the day sleeping.

Will it all be a waste and we be left with nothing after all of that effort?
So to be sure a couple of minutes after recording begins the technician will go back and look at the first couple of minutes using a split screen to make sure that it's actually recording.

Technology is an absolute gift from God to be used properly and as intended.
Just like Faith.

The technicians won't wait until it's time to unhook the patient at the end of the day to check if the data was actually saved or not, it would be too late then.
Right?

Can I ask you today, Is reveal on in your life?
Are you just wishing that things go OK or are you taking steps to make them go that way.

I know how reveal can be turned on in your life.
because just like those 8 hour video patients there is going to come a time when we will all be unhooked from this world and I know you don't want to wait until that day to be sure you got it right.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen.

You know that there is a God because you have heard from the beginning how He framed the worlds with the Words of His mouth.

You know what Genesis One says.
you know what John 3:16 says.
You know what Hebrews 11 says.

You know that you have access to the New Testament so that you can see for your self what Jesus did.

How in the old testament His birth was prophesied, the place and His whole life's journey was foretold and it came to pass.

No other prophet or man in the history of the world was prophesied and it came to pass like Jesus did.

No other man healed men, women and children.

The time that you live in right now was prophesied and written in Holy Scripture and the reason you are nervous about it is because you didn't know about it.

Faith is knowing the outcome.
If you want to know the outcome go to the source.

You want to go humble, you want to go with a heart of gratitude and not complaining.
You want to go asking Lord help me and create in me a clean heart.

Because He is faithful and just to cleanse you of all unrighteousness when you acknowledge that He is God and that you are not and have fallen short of His glory meaning every man must repent and be saved.
1John 1:9

All of us through Adam fell short of God's glory but all don't have to forfeit the redemption through Jesus Christ.
We have access to God's glory through Jesus.

And trust whatever is happening in your life today you need God's glory to deal with it.
There is no psych class on line that can help deal with the stuff going on in your home, in your family and on your job.

You need the power of God to move on your behalf.
Which way are you going to go?
The difference between the narrow road and the wide road is that few be that find the road to God.

There is a huge crowd that goes their own way.

Is "Reveal" on?

In your conscience what have you professed, because if you haven't professed anything unto God you won't have anything.

You will have what the world hands out.
