FAITH OBTAINS FAVOUR

Still focusing on the Favour.

I have been redirecting my thoughts everyday whenever a challenge rises up and immediately focusing on the favour.
Looking to the hills from whence cometh our help means that now our focus has changed.

We no longer focus on what the world system can do for us but what we can do for it.

Not the favour of men but the favour of God.

We looked yesterday at Noah and how he found grace with God.
What we saw was that Noah was righteous in a world filled with unrighteousness.
Noah lived a life that proved what was good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

What is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour?
This is something we need to know.

We know that a life that trusts God is that kind of life, the life of Faith.
A life that trusts God is one that obeys and patiently waits on the LORD.
A lot of folks just believe that Faith means: I believe there is a God and I think it's wrong to divorce or abort a baby.

Faith is abundantly more than just that.

Faith is living a daily life that is pleasing and acceptable unto God.
In every area, not just the tradition of going to Mass, Mosque, Synogogue, Temple or Sunday service, and candle lighting or praying when stuff gets bad.
Faith is everyday all day.

We don't put faith on a shelf to hang with our co-workers or family members.
That means we do not deny Jesus or our belief in what we do, how we talk or the issues we decide to support before any man.

Hebrews 11:6,7 teaches us that ... without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

By faith Noah being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear (reverence), prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Look at that again.
Because if you read this blog you have inside information like Noah did.

Are we moving with reverence and preparing for the saving of our household?
This is Faith.
We are made righteous through faith in Jesus' complete work at Calvary.
To walk by faith and not by sight a man turns his feet from the ways of the world and follows God and His way.

He looks to the hills from whence cometh his help meaning that his focus now becomes: What is pleasing, acceptable and approved of by my God?
Not, How can I live to please the world around me?
Favour with God manifests favour every where else it's needed.

What is precious to the Creator?
We are, but is defiling our bodies through fornication or perversion precious and acceptable to our LORD?

Is a corrupt reputation and record of manufacturing strife acceptable to the Father?

Is a heart that meditates evil and wicked schemes precious in the sight of Jehovah?

Is speaking foul, all manner of lies, unbelief, malice,and complaining something that the Father delights in?
Does it obtain favour?

Favour, it's not earned, it's sought after and obtained.

In the book of Beginnings (Genesis), Cain was angry because he had no respect for God.
When a man has no respect for God it is apparent in that his first priority is not to please God.
Irreverant people know that they are not living to please God this is why they are angry.

So this man is not going to offer up his best to God, he is not looking to please God, he will not honor God.
Did you know that if you draw near to God that He will draw near to you?

Because Cain had no respect for God, the Father had no respect for Cain's offering.
Did you know that a prayer is an offering?

In Genesis 4:7 the Father asks Cain a question:
If thou doest well shall thou not be accepted?
It wasn't that the LORD decided to love Abel over Cain so that they could compete and destroy one another.

Father was trying to teach Cain a lesson.
It was because the devil is looking for a man who has no respect for the ways of God.
Because this is the man who evil can devour.
This is the heart that hell can use to kill his brother, the heart of a terrorist.
Think about it.

That man at Fort Hood was not doing the work and Will of God his mind is ravaged by hell.
The enemy roams about seeking who he may devour and he can't devour the man who trusts in, relies on, respects, reveres and looks to God.

The true man or woman of God do what God has established as righteous.
It's settled in his heart that God's way is the way.
God is not a murderer, sin is.
The wage of sin is death.
God doesn't need any man to carry out His justice for Him.

Vengeance belongs to Him and not any man.

The Father told Cain: ...if you do not do well, sin lieth at the door...
Sin is right outside the door waiting for an opportunity to come in and weaken a man and wreck his life, to bring the curse in.
An ignorant man( someone who lacks the knowledge of the true living God) invites the curse of death into his life by listening to evil.

He can turn to God, repent and be saved but he has to hear and receive the truth.
Like you have the opportunity today.

He that obtains the favour of God is a man who presents his body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God.
Not suicide, that is a dead body, God wants a living body to spread His love.
God sent His only begotten Son Jesus so that we could choose life and live it more abundantly.
Not die early.
The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy.
John 10:10

The man or woman of Faith
The words of his/her mouth, and the meditation of his/her heart are acceptable in the sight of his/her Lord, who is his /her strength and redeemer.

It's not religion and tradition that obtains the favour, it's faith.
Romans 14:16-18

What faith does is live righteously like it has been made.

If it ain't Faith in God and His Word and way of living, it ain't Favour.
