Thanking God this Monday morning for His unfailing love.
Thanking God for never putting me to shame.
Thanking God for being my rescue.
Thanking God that my time and my season are in His hands.
Thanking God that I am safe in His unfailing love for me.
Thanking God for being on my side.
Thanking God that He is for me.
Thanking God for the sake of His Name He guides me.
I may not know a whole lot but this one thing I do know, I have put everything else behind me and am doing what The LORD told me to do, putting all of my focus towards what He has required of me.
Thank You Father.
Hallelujah!
Has anyone seen the news story about the Strawberry farmers who have an abundance of crops down in Florida?
The crop of Strawberries is so great that it lowered the price and because some can't make a profit they have decided to destroy their harvest.
Not sow them into the lives of their neighbors or the less fortunate but to destroy them.
That is a spiteful and greedy act.
It doesn't show mercy towards the families that live in the community.
The families whose water was used during the January freeze to protect those crops.
All of their water was used and it dried up their wells creating huge sink holes that condemned some of their homes.
Yet some of these farmers have decided that it's cheaper to destroy than to sow into the lives of others.
When I was a child I had someone rather than give something to me, crumble it to the ground and step on it just so that I wouldn't get it.
That was hateful.
Oh my goodness.
The Bible says:
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Proverbs 11:24,25
You don't destroy and waste and then increase.
God will deal with us according to how we deal with each other.
I don't think we really understand that.
I just told a couple of my sisters In Christ yesterday that sometimes I see and hear things that make me think Jesus is coming back on Friday at about 1:00pm. (Joking of course)
God gave that increase
It was God that made all grace abound towards them but they have decided to not even sow sparingly with their harvest, they have decided not to sow at all.
The Bible teaches us that every man according as he purpose in his heart , so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
A cheerful giver.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Out of the abundance of the heart a man will do a whole lot.
The farmer's don't understand that they were given the harvest that they might abound in every good work.
They think that those crops were saved and overflowing just so that they could make a living.
Some of us have come across an overflow or an abundance and we didn't bless folks with it.
We always try and determine who we believe deserves our blessing when the Father looked down at each and everyone of us before we got our selves together or so we think and said,
None of them deserve it, but I am going to bless them any way.
God makes the living and you do the giving.
Because the same God that ministered seed to you to sow is the same God who supplies food for you to eat.
When we give, God increases the fruits of our righteousness meaning we walk in even higher levels of enrichment and bountifulness.
Did you know that you can communicate grudgingly as well?
The things that you say can just be a chore to you and not a seed.
Did you know that your communication is a seed?
Yes.
The Bible says that the sower sows the Word.
The Word is seed just like money is a seed and the natural Strawberry seed or Carrot seed or Mustard seed.
The things that come out of our mouth are the result of what is in our heart and they are seeds.
And God gives increase to so many in many ways and in many forms.
We so often waste our increase or don't recognize it as increase until it is no longer in our hands.
That waste could be considered dealing with a slack hand.
You all have something right now in your midst that you don't recognize as seed.
You have people who are a great blessing in your lives and you are dealing with a slack hand where they are concerned.
Love people and see them the way God sees you.
As not perfect.
Not knowing everything.
Maybe needing a strawberry.
Recognize God's increase.
Don't destroy your harvest out of greed or spite.
2 Corinthians 9:1-15
Love Y'all
