THAT SAME POWER!

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me:

And you also shall bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:26,27

These men had been with The Lord Jesus from the beginning of His time of adult ministry on earth.

Jesus chose them right after the Spirit of God descended upon Him like a dove and told them that they would bear witness to who He was as well.

Have any of you out there been chosen by God and filled with His Spirit?

Yes, many of you have.

Are you bearing witness to who Jesus Christ is?

If not, you can start today.
Take comfort in these words because you are never ill equipped In Christ.

Christ Jesus said these words to bring comfort to His disciples as they were saddened at the news that He had to go away.
They didn't know if they could do it without Him.

The LORD assures us that if we abide in Him we are never without Him, The Father or The Holy Ghost.

I imagine the disciples had heard prophesy all their lives about the Messiah coming and returning all rule to Israel and there would be no more tears, no more terror, no more trouble.

They had no idea the role that they would play in making things come to pass.



John 16:13,14:

13 Howbeit when he, The Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak: and he will shew (announce) you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

The Holy Spirit hears from the Father and reveals it to us and then we take that witness and work it out to the surface for others to see.


The Fathers desire is to fill us with His Spirit in order to testify of Him.

The Holy Scriptures were written by men as the Holy Spirit directed and guided.

The Father didn't give spirits the rule down here, He gave man rule down here.
We choose which spirits counsel we want to follow.
The Spirit of Truth or the spirit of error.

Jesus said, If I don't go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go I will send Him to you.
The Comforter.

I watched Brother Kenneth Copeland and Brother Jerry Savelle earlier this week on television and Brother Savelle was speaking about this same power.

Brother Savelle went to John 17:14 where the Lord Jesus Christ speaks to the Father and says:

I have given them (the called out ones) thy word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Showing us that we live on the earth yet we through Christ Jesus and with the help of Holy Spirit inside of us are not limited to or defined my the boundaries of this world.

God has given us through His Spirit knowledge, wisdom, ability, insight, strength, revelation, skill, faith, love and many other fruits.

The Creator has given us Dunamis power, that same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead and it lives on the inside of each and every born again believer.

It is the power that brings back to our mind the things that Jesus has said.

God's Word is what removes all limits and boundaries.

The burden removing yoke destroying power of God!

It is the power that makes each of us a witness to the truth that is Christ.

Faith comes by hearing it.

Love is it's catalyst.

Walking by the Spirit fulfills it.

In Acts chapter 1 the disciples asked the LORD, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And He said to them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own power.

But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8

Out testimony plays a huge part in the salvation of others.

Our relationship with Jesus plays an important role in the saving of many.

If we don't have a relationship with Jesus we can't bear witness to who He is.

This is why the gospel must be preached and taught.

That's why we have the Comforter, along with the Father and the Son, all who have come and made their home with us so that we can testify of their truth and their power to redeem.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, James, Paul, Timothy those men had the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, The Guide of God, and all of us who have been born again have it as well.

THAT SAME POWER.

Please go to a Bible teaching church and take your Bible and open it up and hear from God.

There is a power on the inside of the Born Again Believer that can not be harnessed by this world.
