IT IS NOT BLIND

THANK YOU FATHER.

Grace and Peace to all who see these words in The Authority of My LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ.

FAITH IN JESUS.

How does that come?
By hearing and understanding the Word of Truth.
Romans 10:17

Why does a man need Faith?
Because without it, it is impossible to please God.
Without Faith no man will ever believe God and apart from believing the promise of God who is Christ, we cannot be saved.
That is why God Himself provided a measure of faith for every man.

Let's look at faith and please God The Father today, Amen.

Abraham is called The Father of Faith in Holy Scripture.
The reason that Abraham is called The Father of Faith is because Abraham believed God.
It wasn't because of anything else that he did.

Dear hearts, I want you to understand clearly that unless you come to first believe on The Authority of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sin, you won't have eternal life or be able to change for the better and welfare of your self and or your loved ones.

Until a man believes on The Name of Jesus he will not follow God and he will not see heaven or eternal life.

Salvation is a ONE TIME EVENT and it is miraculous through faith in Christ alone.
The renewing of your mind by the Word of God is a daily ongoing lifetime event.

CHOOSE LIFE.

Unless we take up our cross daily which is us not being lazy and letting others tell us what God has instructed, but getting before The Father daily in His presence and Word, we won't add to our faith.
When we don't add to our faith we do not follow after God.

Be filled with The Spirit of God.
If the Spirit of God doesn't dwell in us we cannot be led of God.

Adding to our faith is beneficial for leading us away from temptation and sin, living the abundant life of love, peace and joy, patience and long suffering in this earth.
With a spirit of humility and meekness which is being teachable.

This is necessary because I believe that we will all be learning even after we are caught up in the clouds to be with The LORD.

Hear what I am saying.

Most of the time when we hear about Abraham we hear of how obedient he was and how we should imitate his faith.
We should understand what Abraham did in order to be justified by God.
Understand his faith.

We have learned that Abraham is not the only example of faith in the scriptures, but he was the beginning and example of how God would save all men.

The LORD God established His covenant through Abraham.
A covenant that would eventually be extended to all men who believe through the seed of Abraham, that is Christ. Galatians 3:29

We have learned of how when God called Abram to leave his family and go to the place that the Lord would show him, he left and went at the voice of God.

The LORD would show him, so it was not a blind faith if the Lord told him that He would show it to him.

We heard of how when The Father asked Abraham to take Isaac up as an offering, he obeyed.
God didn't take Isaac and God doesn't want you to take the life of your son, that's why He sent His Son.

You may hear it preached in a way that says unless you set the example that Abraham set for the world that your faith isn't genuine.
Let me clear that up, no man can judge your faith.

Jesus will let you know what type of faith you have.
The LORD said Himself, Many will say that they did many mighty works of obedience, and He is going to tell them to get to stepping because He never knew them.

Get in the Word and see what else is recorded of Abraham so that you will know that Abraham was not consistently obedient, no one is, that is why we need Jesus.

Many will teach that genuine faith is always accompanied by immediate, unquestioning actions, equating faith to mean works.

It is important that you learn to listen to God and move when He instructs, it is even more important that you are not bombarded with false prophecy and opinion that drown out God's instruction.
Men have taken God's Word and abused it for their own gain.

Search what The Holy Scripture says about Abraham and what he did and what true justification by faith is.

If Abraham was justified by what he did, he would have something to boast about, but not before God.
What does the scripture say?

(Not what does the person say who wants you to follow their lead blindly asking no questions.)

The folks who claim to have surrendered all have not surrendered all.
What does the scripture say?
It says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
Romans chapter 4

The reason that I want this to be clear to you is because there are men and women who have come to believe that you should submit to do whatever they say without asking questions and this is what they deem genuine faith.

I am not talking about rejecting anything but lies.
Submit to God resist the devil and he will flee.

What we are not going to do is equate the command, instruction and Word of God with the desire of men.
We want to be sure that we are lining up with God's plan and not some plan hatched by men.
Cooperate with men as far as they will allow you to, but submit to God and believe Him.

The Father called Abraham righteous because he believed God.

What many omit to teach from Abraham's record of faith is that in his being perfectly obedient to believe in the promises of God, he wasn't perfectly obedient in his actions.

Abram lied twice about Sarah being his sister and not his wife, first to the Egyptian Pharaoh(Genesis 12:10-20) and then to Abimelech (Genesis 20:1-18).
Abram who believed God also went in and slept with his wife's maid Hagar.

I am not underestimating the need to obey God, I want you to know that if you believe God, and have trusted In Christ, you have genuine faith.

And the more you renew your mind by His Word adding to your faith, the more you will be obeying God.

Unless a man is born again and filled with the Spirit of God, he will not be able to be led by God.

We speak to people about obedience and choices when they haven't even the Spirit of God in them to lead them into all truth of understanding.
The Holy Spirit in us is our capacity to hear, understand and follow the things of God.

The Spirit of God in us is how The Father communicates His truth to us.

You can tell people what is right and what is wrong until you are blue in the face but except they be born again and filled with the Spirit of God, it's just a set of rules that they will never understand it's purpose.

The fool says in his heart there is no God because the heart of a fool is not filled with the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:13,14

Unless a woman is born again and renews her mind by the Word she will never understand why abortion is murder.

Unless a man and woman be born again, they will never understand why they should never lay with another of their same sex.

Unless a man be born again he will never understand communism is slavery and oppression in God's eyes.
Faith without knowing that your sins are forgiven is dead faith.

I heard a woman say once that an unsaved woman was reaping the blessing of God just by following Godly principles.

Seed, Time and Harvest.

You are not reaping Godly blessings apart from believing in who Jehovah is.
Because it is through His blood and Spirit that we have our connection to God and every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from our Father in heaven in which there is no shadow of turning.

If anyone could just reap the blessings of God through principles apart from Christ what would we need Christ for?

That's why you have people who say that they believe there is a god, but what about Jesus?
If you say that God is blessing good intention and good works, then people will believe that salvation comes through good intention and works and not believe on The Name of Jesus.

It does rain on the just and the unjust, the rain is the opportunity to come to Christ and believe in Him.
Who have you believed?

There is a god of this world who took The LORD Jesus Himself up on a high mountain and showed Him the kingdoms of this world and said to Him, "If you would bow down and worship(believe) me, I will give you the kingdoms of this world and the glory of them. Matthew 4:8-10

There is a God of Heaven who sent His only begotten Son so that whoever believes on His Name would have eternal life.
And this is eternal life that we may know The One and Only True God and His Son Jesus Christ.

So we don't fix our eyes on what is seen but on those things that are not seen, because what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Unseen is unseen, not unknown.
Faith is not blind, meaning no direction.

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
It doesn't say that faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not know.

We know exactly what we hope for and we have believed in that which we have not seen but do know.

Eye has not seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him.
But we believe God not because He hasn't laid out a map for all to see but God has revealed His mysteries to us by His Spirit.
1Corinthians 2:1-16

Blessed is the man who believes and yet has not seen.
I want you guys to know that our faith is not a blind faith, we have the mind of Christ and The Spirit of God in us.

This is the faith that without it is impossible to please God.
Because, anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

We also have to know that He forgives and that once saved, always saved.
FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE CONFIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.

No man will come to truly know God be filled with His Spirit, renew there mind by the truth and then purposefully abandon His way.

Oh, we know in whom we have believed.
Abraham knew that God had promised him a place and he knew who he was following.
