These days call for forty days of repentance in ashes and sackcloth.

Why would a church established In Christ have to renew it's focus back to Christ?

Because it's focus had turned from Christ.

As I continued to roll president Lincoln's life over in my thoughts the LORD continued to teach me.
My defense of president Lincoln's memory was minimal compared to how I will defend the Word's of Christ.

As the LORD pointed out the way to know what president Lincoln believed would be to read his speeches, not one but all that I could get my heart on.

The same rings true for Christ Jesus.
You will never have to simply listen to another man, no matter who he is or the position that he holds and allow him to dictate to you what Christ believed, if you take the initiative to study the Words of Christ your self.

We are taught not to revere men above God regardless of what they can hinder in the natural, for no man has the power to destroy your soul.

I'm not a debater of The Old Testament because I believe what God said and I believe what Christ Jesus said.

I believe and it is written that Christ Jesus came not to destroy the law of God but to fulfill it.
Matthew 5:17
For the Son of man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them.

I also believe the prophesy of Isaiah in the old covenant that speaks of the coming of our Saviour.
I also believe what the prophet Jeremiah spoke in Jeremiah 23 as God gave him utterance.

The wisdom of God is a prized asset because there is nothing devious or crooked in it.
The Words of Christ are clear to all with understanding and to be chosen above wealth and position.
Because the mind of Christ is far more valuable than anything man can provide and nothing can compare to the relationship and revelation of The Messiah.

And when The Father sees that men will humble them selves to His Word, He will not destroy but He will grant deliverance.

If you are wealthy I am not against the gifts and blessings of God, it is the gift of God that allows a man to enjoy the good of all his labour.
And it is also the righteousness of God to judge all that oppress men.

Enjoy your blessings but take heed to the Word of God because it is better to be a poor and wise child of God than to be a stiff necked king, who will not be corrected by the Word of God.

My dear friends keep your eyes on Christ, not only for a season after the tradition of men, but learn of Him.

He was not a blond, He was not black, He was born a Jew with skin bronzed by the sun of His homeland, hair curled and dark no doubt as those of his mothers house.

Look at the native men of Israel and let their portrait be your guide.
He didn't look like me but He lived, died and lives again eternally for me.
He didn't look like Jackie Chan but He lived, died and lives eternal for Jackie Chan.
Christ didn't look like Nicole Kidman but He lived, died and lives eternally for Her.

He may not look like you but Christ lived, died and lives eternally so that you might follow Him and live eternally too!

Christ Jesus is the only way to God.
There are those who are now preaching that the men they believe in suffered a similar passion and persecution as Jesus Christ did, there is no man who died for all men and rose again, but Christ.

It's written, recorded and documented in many texts.
You cannot go back now and change history.

Christ Jesus is not a prophet, He is The Son of The living God.
John 6:44

Learn of Him.
So that you can receive Him as Saviour.
