PLUCKED

THANK YOU FATHER.

The Bible teaches us that the enemy roams around seeking who he may devour.
Evidently he has not the power to devour everyone.

Let me help you with something, you don't have to stand begging God to help you not to fall because of the enemy.

Stop focusing on the limited ability of the devil and focus on the greater One that lives in you. Stop all of that screaming and hollering and keep your mind stayed on the power of Jesus.

Do you know how you get plucked off by the enemy?

By not knowing what God has said and by relying on misinformation, rumors, your success and position.
Many believe that their is safety in numbers when the truth is you can be plucked off in a crowd just as easily as if you were alone.

The enemy is a marksman and he zeros in on lack of knowledge.
When you lack knowledge and understanding you become lunch for the enemy.

I always go back to Eve to prove this.

When you are tempted you are tempted in your own mind, that temptation is yours alone.
The question now becomes who or what are you relying on to get you through the temptation?

There will be many times when temptation comes to you and your pastor, prayer partners and all of your friends who know the truth of the Word are not going to be there.

It is a good thing to understand this early because God is not going to hold anyone accountable for the choices you make but you.
You won't be able to answer God saying, "Lord, It was that preacher that you gave me." because that preacher will be answering for enough of his own stuff.

You will have to be able to rely on your own intimate knowledge and relationship with the Father and His Words.

I don't want you relying on me, I want you to know so that you can slap lies down and every high thing that exalts itself up against the knowledge of God for your self.

When the Lord Jesus was taken up by the Spirit and tested by the enemy, He didn't get to take two disciples with Him.
John the Baptist wasn't there holding Jesus hand as He was tempted with twisted scripture.

What was it that kept the Lord from being plucked?
It was Him knowing The Word and being The Word that disarmed the enemy.

Because we have folks who have began to trust in their own success above The Word of God so let me share what happens here.

First off let me say that success is you knowing who you are and what you have In Christ and this is a confidence that money can't buy.

So when you begin to believe that your success will shield you and you get out of order, rob, steal and have sex outside of marriage with whoever it is, heterosexual or homosexual.

They begin to believe that their success will shield them from the wrong that robs their families and followers.

They begin to believe that their success will shield them from the fact that they are addicted to pills, street drugs, pornography, pedophilia and alcohol.

They begin to believe that it is okay to stand before people and say things that are not true as long as they are entertaining.

Believing that they can actually manipulate God's plan for other people.

And because we have people who would rather protect this sort of mindset than correct it they can be standing in a crowd of praise's an intelligent folk hands lifted to the sky and be plucked off by the enemy.

Their faith was not in Christ and knowing Him and His Word, they had placed their trust in the group, the mentor and the success.

I am not by any means saying that you don't need the community of the five fold ministry.

I am not saying that we as a nation don't need one another.

I am not saying that it doesn't take a village, well maybe I am saying that because it has been turned into such a cliche.

It takes a village that is about the village and not about propelling the one who used the term.

What I am saying is that your faith can't be misplaced, it has got to be in Jesus and His Words.

The Bible teaches that you don't place anything above God and that includes mentors.

I have been warned by The Father to beware of anyone who tries to convince me that it is absolutely necessary to my success that they have a hand in it.
I always go back to Eve.

For one thing I ain't marketing me, I am not a brand.

There is a reason that God warns that a novice should not stand before people.
The reason is because it does more harm than good.
The only place the blind can lead the blind is into a ditch.

Because first of all it is only through an accurate knowledge of Christ Jesus that the divine power we need for life and godliness springs.
This accurate and true knowledge of Him is the only thing that keeps us from being ineffective and unproductive.

You can make lots of money and become famous having no clue.
But in order to have peace and joy unspeakable, this only comes one way.

You can manufacture a whole lot of stuff but some manufacturers put out cars that are more than shiny on the outside, they are safe, don't rust, get great gas mileage,
and come out front in the race all of the time.

I am not talking about being perfect, I'm talking about being with the LORD when the trump sounds.

I just want to be a reminder to you as you go into the weekend that you pay attention and understand that no scripture came to the prophets by his own private interpretation, no prophecy ever originated with the will of men.

And scripture in context confirmed by other scripture and understood is necessary.

There have always been false prophets just as there are false prophets among us today and this is why it is so important for you to know and understand God's Word for your self.

Because it is written that many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the Word of truth into disrepute.

In their greed these teachers will exploit with stories they have made up.

You have had the opportunity to witness this in the politics of this country as well as in the religion.

And the misconception has been that ungodly is limited to the secular world and it is not limited to the secular world.
The ones who are experts at seducing the unstable (people who have not comprehended) are more often than not those who are carrying a bible.

Those who have professed Christ yet have returned to the same tactics as they resorted to pre-salvation or when they lived in the streets: manipulation, lies, tangents and intimidation.

A dog returns to his vomit and a sow that is washed goes back to wallowing in the mud.
Excuses is all they have, none walks in accountability.

They would say that I am the sow that has returned to the wallowing in the mud because I refuse to close the people in the world out that they attack.
But my Lord didn't come to condemn, He came to offer forgiveness for sins.
All judgment has been given to Him.

Participating in the divine nature of God is how you escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

What does that mean?

The divine nature of God won't allow it's elderly to go without.

The divine nature of God would not prevent all of it's children an adequate education.

The divine nature of God wouldn't try and revert back to pre-civil rights days where minorities were blocked from opportunities or limited to only having access to scraps.

The divine nature of God would provide for it's sick and it's hungry.

The divine nature of God is more concerned with the welfare of others than it is with the lining of it's own pockets.

This is God's perception.

You want to talk selfish and ungodly?

Jesus laid down His life for the entire world and people who profess to know Him refuse to come to the table to bring an offering or sacrifice, they haven't been even asked to sacrifice for the world but for their own country men.

Not understanding that when they set the example of true sacrifice that it has an impact on the world.

Yet they refuse.
And they think that I lack intelligence and qualifications.

They can no longer use Christ as their reasoning for what they do.

Don't profess Christ as your Lord when this is your attitude, He is not in you.

Oil for your lamps today:
You will know them by their fruit.
A corrupt tree can't bring forth good fruit, and a good tree can't bring forth corrupt fruit.

What Jesus did when He was hungry and the tree gave the impression of being ripe yet it was not, The LORD declared that the tree dry up at it's very roots.
